Imbalance - ISTD 2010

The brief states to focus on the word 'Imbalance', designing with this word in mind. Weight = Size is a good example of imbalance, i can look at different objects and state their weight and sizes, comparing them with one another. Weight is accumulated by the increase in size. For example, the Empire State building is heavier than a dog, as the size of the building is more than the size of the dog. In contrast, a deflated balloon is heavier than an inflated balloon, yet it is of a much smaller size. This is an example of Imbalance.
